1. What gets you out of bed every day?
Two cups of plunger coffee
2. Who is the photographer that has inspired you the most?
 Dianne Arbus
3. What camera and lens do you like shooting with and why?
Leica X1
4. When you are on a shoot do you play music? What other essential items do you have with you for a successful session?
No I play music after, during editing, Just natural light, light meter, tripod, Nikon 4Ds.
5. In the digital world how important is the print?
Hugely important, the paper stock, colour management, surface texture.
6. B/W - Colour - Analogue - Digital.
    What are your thoughts and ideas about these 4 different photographic concepts.
1.Colour I love the endless possibilities of hue,
2.Analogue I love seeing grain,
3.B/W cause of it’s grittiness,
4.Digital, last because of it’s ease of use.
7. Have you exhibited your work, and other than the print, how important was the framing process to you?
I have Exhibited my work for over 20 years, Framing is an integral part of the image and how the exhibition is read and it’s presentation.
8. What is it that defines a great image?
Deeply felt emotion or mood.
9.What is your favourite genre of photography and why? and also your favourite photo?Â
 The Thinker and the Muse which is a colour portrait of my husband and daughter sixteen years ago when she was five.
The look on my husband’s face and his hold on our daughter and her natural straightforward gaze.
10. What is the best and most enduring advice about photography that you have received? Tell us by who if you can or want to?
Don’t worry about the apparatus, which camera you use to take a picture, I have forgotten who said that, might have been Moshe Rozenveig.
11. When you are not taking photos, what are you doing?
Apart from a million chores,
looking at images, going to galleries, seeing friends, entering prizes, planning new work for Exhibition.
